The ship was silent as Sharp was being taken to a test sight for her final. She knew it was a training session but she had brought a Dc-15. She had it modified with a silencer and stun bolts so she could take out some opposition. All opposition would be droids as far as she knew so she knew it wouldn't be much use. The ship began it's descent and the doors opened before her. Sharp peered out into the snowy hills that made up the training course. She peered out and there stood a village.
"Your target is in the village in the prison you get to figure out the rest," said the pilot as sharp stepped out into the snow.
Sharp looked toward the village looking for the first sign of opposition. She watched from her cold perch in the hills. After a few moments passed of silence she began walking toward a small house. Gently she stepped to the back of a house which had some scaffolding leading up to the roof. Sharp climbed up and dropped to a prone position. Then looked out at her surroundings to find her objective. She spotted it, the prison. From where she lay she could see it's 4 guard towers on the outer wall. Sharp looked on to see the large durasteel compound before her.
Silent as night Sharp rose to her feet and began leaping the roof tops. After a while she sat on the roof closest the tower on the right rear end side of the prison. Sharp looked at the tower it was a basic design for a tower. The girders rose in a pattern of diamonds and triangles. If Sharp timed it right she might actually be able to get onto the tower without being noticed. Before Sharp tried anything she quickly gathered a ball of snow and chucked it at the tower. When it only impacted on the tower Sharp guessed it wasn't rigged to stop climbers. Sharp looked up the light was moving her way so she had to move quickly. Sharp turned and walked back a few steps then she turned again and looked at the tower. If she missed this she would definitely be caught.
She waited, when the light was almost touching the building Sharp took off in a sprint. She leaped when she was but an inch from the roof's edge. Her momentum carried her almost to the tower. Gravity was obviously against her so she had to reach out and grab a hold of one of the beams. She pulled herself up slightly and waited to catch her breath. When she was able to move again she did slowly until she was looking over the small wall that snipers used for cover. She noticed someone stood he was looking over on the other side where the light was making it's way to.
Slowly Sharp hoisted herself over the low wall and crept up on the soldier. She hit him over the head with her blaster. The trooper fell down unconscious or at least stunned with the shock of the attack. Then she shot him in the chest making sure that he would be stunned. Sharp then checked him for communication devises. She found a com link and she hooked it to one of her belt loops. She then looked for anything in the tower that could be used for communications. She saw the light controls had a small built in com link. She carefully lowered her blaster to the controls and shot it blowing up the controls. Now unless the man had a flare Sharp was safe. Which Sharp thought of it and quickly checked the man for any weapons. She found a simple a rifle. He also had another Dc-15, which Sharp clipped to her belt. She then threw the rifle down into the snow. Sharp nodded to herself as she crossed to the ladder that would take her down to the snow.
Sharps hands only gripped the sides so she didn't have to climb down the rungs. Her boots hit the ground in an instant and Sharp looked around for any ground forces, which she spotted none. There she waited until the light had passed. She then took a zigzag pattern to the next wall and checked to make sure no one had spotted her, and surely enough no one had. Sharp looked down to see a gate. It was close to where she stood. So Sharp decided to take the other route just in case a patrol came looking for her. Sharp headed around the wall looking for a way in or over it. It was smooth Plati-steel that ended in barbed wire wrappings. It also didn't offer many hand and foot holds. Where it did though was to far apart for Sharp to climb. When she found her self at any of the other corners she waited for the light to pass then moved forward. Soon though Sharp found her way around to the gate. She was about a yard away when the com link attached to her belt sounded up. She pulled it from where it rested gently attached to her belt. Then she rose it to her ear. "Tower 3 report in" came the message for the 2nd time. She heard the sound of stuff colliding as the man on other end tried the other option. When it didn't work he turned off the com. Sharp stood and waited to see if a patrol would leave to check on the man from the tower. A group of droids burst through the gate and headed toward the tower which was closer if they went the way that Sharp hadn't. Sharp grinned in her helmet as she went through the gate just before it closed.
Sharp was in now how to cross the long stretch of land before her. Sharp looked around and saw a soft glow in different spots. The glow had to be from a light somewhere underneath the snow. Sharp laid down in a prone position to make sure she wouldn't be seen easily. Her armor blended to the snow and made her more unnoticeable. She watched the glow flicker and reappear for what a few moments.
Mines she thought to herself as she got to her feet. It's the only way that the lights would be under the snow. The lights were there to notify people that there were mines in those spots, because unless they were here every day no one could know the exact placement of the mines. Unlike droids that could be programmed to know where the mines were sentient species had to learn where they were, Sharp thought to herself. Since the men and women here already knew she was in the outer perimeter she might as well let them know she had breached the inner wall. They would have to deploy their own troops to catch her and she would get her opening to the prison. Sharp grabbed the DC-15s from her belt and shot it at the mine closest to her. The mine shot out a wave of heat melting the snow around it. Sharp noted this as a small stick came from the metal disk with electricity dancing atop of it. She continued her charge shooting each spot where the mine's light blinked. Soon snipers began shooting their bullets missing as the mines went off and filled the air with steam. Obviously the snipers had infrared but the steam made it hard with the mines going off underneath them. Soon Sharp made it to the wall. A Trandoshan leaped down looking at the mines's melted path Sharp quickly shot him in the back. The trandoshan turned and Sharp shot him again this time making sure that he dropped stunned. She then ran for the ventilation shafts and began trying to break one. after about three attempts the alarm sounded and red lights flashed all around the prison. Sharp began again and soon enough she was able to enter the ventilation shafts.
Inch by inch Sharp crawled through looking for the prison block where her target might be held. She soon found her way to the defense room. She found herself watching a computer as it's files and maps of the prison were downloaded into 4 droids. The cell where her target was highlighted in red. She knew that these droids were being prepped to guard her target. So Sharp quickly looked for the man who was getting them ready. She found the man at the other side of the room checking the droid's ammunition. She opened the vent and silently she leaped down from her hiding spot. She turned and shot the man with her DC-15. The man fell with a thud. So she confiscated one of the blasters and climbed back into the vents. With a grin she crawled down the path until she found her self in cell block D. Quietly she crept to a computer and opened the main screen and analysed the screen for any cells that were filled. She found two that were filled with prisoners. Sharp sprinted down the corridor and found herself between the two doors. Quickly she opened both then walked backwards. Shots erupted from one of the doors.
The shots ceased after a few moments. Sharp guess the men had realized they were only shooting the empty wall of the other cell. A man slowly made his way to the door and halted. He peered out slightly so that his eyes were able to see Sharp. She stood her pistol in hand and shot as the man's eyes flashed out of the door way. The man crashed to the ground and Sharp walked up and hid next to the door way. She put her pistol away and grabbed the rifle she had stolen from the droids. She then turned it on her unsuspecting enemies and opened fire on the last two soldiers in the room. Both dropped and Sharp turned to the room where her target awaited.
