Although a SGT went from there to CPT, there was probably a good reason for it, maybe he started a new division or did something that was actually worthy of a promotion like was extremely active. -----------------------

Considering its 1999... things were different then. We could all say Ronin went from a Wing Commander to Grand Admiral of the EH fleet suddenly, but when you look back at the history you can see why. It's easy to critize things through one document without having the experience of that day or even that time period. Maybe they restructured and moved their best people up because they had too many regular infiltry? Maybe he was recommended the position for diligent work? Who knows? But I'm guessing it was a different situation then.
Well thats enough of my brainy talk for today, time to get some bags and head out for a few days. -----------------------

Ok. New deal. The Dark Dragoons have a full squad, and I'm hoping that this squad will have all of its members active. The problem - I think - is that the members don't have anything to be active for. Let's try and change that.
What I propose that the Dark Dragoons do is get active as quickly as possible. All of you. What I'm going to do is try to get all the other squads as active as possible. When that happens, we'll have an Elite Squad Competition.
This competition has happened only once in the past, but has been a real morale/activity-booster. This is something to look forward to, people! There's promotions and medals for rewards in this kind of competition. Let's see some incentive from you guys and I'll see what I can do to get this competition going. -----------------------

When I saw this I just had to post because we come in dead last. I realize that the story is confusing, and that is what kept me from posting, but with these scores written down... I know I am a lowly Lance Corporal but I would hate to see the Dark Dragoons lose at something that is easy to do. I mean come on, the Raiders have 26!
I also realize that only a handful of us is still active but that doesn't have to stop us. Fallen Angel alone acounts for 14 of the Raider's 26. I hope you all will heed my example and start posting on the Fresia mission and get out and playing some games for more points in the competition! -----------------------

Yes, the story has cleared up. We have also given you guys "a time to shine". Get your tanks, butts, gear, and whatever to the storyboard and post on the story. Also, we do have a category callled Misc. Activity. IF you can come up with ANYTHING that you think will count in that category e-mail Japer and myself. There is still time to come ahead on the posting end, we have a lot of ground to cover. I will be speaking to the other Squads as well. I'd like to see you guys do a lot better than you are. No offense, but I have seen you all have much better activity before. Get off your butts! Yes, we all have lives but it takes 15-30 mins at max to post a decent post. Which reminds me: I will make this offer to you as well as to the other squads. For the rest of the week, anyone who makes a substancial post (250+ words) that forwards the story along will get 1000 ICs per post. All those who don't even post will be paying 500 each to your SL. I can and WILL get that enforced. Oh, those who are on leave are exempt from paying the 500 if they dont post. Well that's about it, Demi? Would you care to finish yelling for me?

Ok, Dragoons, Uncle Mars is here to hold your hand. I realize our numbers have been reduced (to five soldiers), and I know that all five of those soldiers are active and check the comnet (accept Slash, who is gone, I believe). To make things easy for you, I'll give you a little summary of what the Dragoons are doing:
We are outside some rebel facility helping out the Raiders, who have lost four of their soldiers due to Iron Horse needing reinforcements at a walker facility. We have defeated the remaining rebel forces outside the base but have intercepted a transmission calling for reinforcements. The rebel reinforcements have arrived with heavy weaponry (no walkers, just maybe an APC or so).
That should get you a start on a simple 250 word post... and hey, you get 1000 credits for it!
