WE HAD OUR FIRST SQUAD MEETING TONIGHT!!! WOOT!
For those who didnt make it, here is an overview.
1.Good job to everyone who is working on Chapter 8. The entire squad has shown good effort and lets keep up the good work. This is gonna be a long one, so lets not wane at all.
2.All of you should read (if you havent already) the Gaming competition that will be going on with Chapter 8. All of you get out there game, and "have fun". If a DD member is in the top three of the Gaming or Graphics comp by the end, they will recieve a special prize. Now if a good portion of DD is in the top three of BOTH categories, then the entire squad will recieve a prize.
3.If you are good with Graphics please drop Afyon a line since he will be needing graphic help in creating the squad website. Also if you are good with creating websites, see Afyon.
4.Squad meetings will be held sometime friday nights until Afyon decides when we are going to have a set date and time.
5.If your on IRC with another DD member talk to them and try to set up a posting session. Basicially you two or three post in a row. Also Q&A sessions will be held whenever Afyon or myself are on.
Thats it. If Afyon has anything to add, im sure he will.^_^

Ya story activity has been quite good to date. However that being said, for the most part three people are doing the largest chunk of work. I would like to see some more from the rest in order to balance that out.

my crappy anti-virus has seen my whole computer go down in flames 
god knows how many virus's are on the comp now, so it could be ages before we get it working again
i'm posting from my friends house now, but probably won't be able to post on storynet until our home computer's back up and running.

Midweek Update:
1. After a great week of activity last week, we have seen an unfortunate plunge. Hopefully by the end of the week we can get activity back up there eh?
2. Welcome to Zek, our newest squad member! I have worked out a way for you to be incorporated into our story. Zek is a GB and rebellion player so any of you with those games get a game set up some time. I know I want a rebellion match with him *drums his fingers together evily*.
3. JKO competition. From what I understand, only Rema and I have this game but there is a second part to this competition, that being graphics. If any of you know how to make graphics, read that portion of the competition to get the guidelines.
4. Website. I will be beginning work on the website this weekend. In order to be able to make a really nice one I will also be needing graphics so again, any of you graphics ppl let me know and Ill create a list.
5. Other website stuff. I have a project for all of you. If you have written biographies, personal stories, or training stories for VE, can you find them in the archives. I will put them on our site. In addition, pictures of your characters would be great. A list of the personal equipment you use on missions can be useful as well (ensure it can be bought at the store, the exception being silenced weapons, just state that they are silenced). A list of games you play and when as well as when you are on IRC daily plus AIM, msn, and other such methods of communication would be appreciated to have.
6. Remember, E-MAIL ME THIS INFORMATION. Please do not post it here as it'll be difficult to keep track of. [email protected] is my e-mail address.

We had our second meeting last night as a spur of the moment thing. Thanks go out to TK for reminding me and for Niko for being there once again. It was a short meeting, and it basically was everything from Afyon's Mid-Week update. So read that too.
1. The chapter WAS going good, but due to sickness, personal issues, and an overall busy life, it has kinda grinded to a halt. So this next week lets try to get back up where we were before.
2.Reports this week, basically everyone is excused since everyone was gone.
3.The competition is still on so lets get some gaming/graphic stuff in.

Do you have windows XP, if so keep your firewall up. As for IRC, ask around but I dont think many of us are getting bombarded with viruses so I think its safe. At least the server we use is. -----------------------

Ok here is what we have for the attack on the shield generator.
Location: highlands, hill country with a couple of roads. think rocks, high grass, trees etc
Defences: 3 companies of troops, mostly regulars, conscripts and volunteers
Our Forces: 1 company of repulsor troops, our squad
Our gear: what we got with us plus new ammo and field packs, going in heavier this time
Im working on a plan of attack right now but that should be a good start for posting -----------------------
