Ryan breathed slowly; the taste of blood touched his tongue gently as he closed his eyes. He could feel the wound increasing slowly, blood pushing forward despite his attempts to try and control it. His hands were bound behind his back, his vision fading; he knew this was the end. Regardless of what he was told, no matter the hope that was given to him when he had accepted this mission. The end was upon him, and yet, he felt peace; a simple smile spread across his lips as he lifted his head up and smiled; rain began to fall. He felt the brutal hit of a hammer hit his lift temple, a burning sensation shot through his body, his eyes closed tightly. He felt his lungs exhale, another blow to the head, and then darkness fell.
