- So I decided to incorporate my actual experiences with Marine Corps Boot Camp into a story. Probably gonna be pretty long and lots of fun. Hope you guy enjoy.
It was 2345. Razor had been on shuttles all day that were speeding him toward Tadath and his future life as a Stormtrooper in service of them Empire. He had been told that he wouldn't sleep for the first four days of his training but it didn't matter. He was so excited he couldn't even sleep. He sat on the shuttle trying to sleep but his body was pumped full of adrenaline.
Razor stepped off the speeder and was instantly herded into a huge building by a screaming instrucor. The other men and women huddled in little clusters confusedly looking around. One of the other recruits looked at one of the instructors as if hoping for some sort of instruction. The instructor exploded through the two recruits in between him and grabbed the recruit who had eyed him by the throat.
"So you think you've earned the right to look at me huh? You think you can just come into my training grounds and strut around like you own the goddam place huh?"
The recruit released a gurgled, "No sir!"
The instructor screamed incoherently and then finally yelled, "SCREAM OUT YOUR DAMN DISGUSTING FACE!"
The recruit was dropped and as he hit the floor he yelled, "Aye SIR."
All the recruits instantly locked their body into attention and pressed themselves hard against the wall. They were careful to look past or through the instructors who were watching them.
A bear of a man strutted onto the deck in front of them and said, " Good evening recruits."
There was a long pause filled with awkward silence.
The other instructors jumped on the recruits yelling that when something is said to them they will always have a verbal response. No matter what.
Razor just continued staring forward hardly realizing that his mouth was releasing the words aye sir. The recruits were herded down a passageway into a classroom filled with seats. Razor and the other classmates were told to put their heads down on the desks and wait. The room was freezing cold but it didn't matter. Every recruit passed out within seconds of being sat down in the room.
For Razor what seemed like seconds later the door slammed open and an instructor yelled, "Good, you all think you can just sleep without being told to? Get outside right now."
All the recruits shuffled up. The instructor began slamming recruits into the walls screaming that they weren't moving fast enough. The Instructor took them outside. The Sun was rising. Razor had no idea how long he had been inside of the building. The Instructor pulled them over to a pit filled with sand and yelled at them to push. They did push ups until recruits were collapsing. Then he made them roll over and do bicycle crunches until their abs were burning.
They went back inside when the sun was high in the sky. A civilian came into the classroom and handed them all their service record books. It was the start of the first and one of the longest days of recruit training at the recruit training depot on Tadath.
