Hello Troopers, Squad Leaders and Various Members of Army High Command,
Tactical Officer here. I know that doesn’t mean a great deal to some people, but hopefully I can take a more visible role as TO, and make it clear what I actually do.
The Tactical Officer’s job is threefold; assist in Army High Command discussions and the like, vet squad stories and help design army-wide stories, and lastly, to maintain, grade and update specialties.
Today, we’re concerned with the final focus: specialties.
The specialty system has been changed significantly. I ask that you check the pages associated with specialties before presenting questions. However, I’ll summarize the changes below:
- Another Prestige Specialty has been added. It focuses on computer interactions, and builds on some of the specialties that have been added in the last few weeks.
- A new type of specialty has been added: Focus Specialties. These specialties are slightly less rigorous than Prestige specialties. There are 5 new Focus specialties that expand
- Different Prestige Specialty style: now, it is mandatory that three 2000 word posts be written, at intermediate steps of the four specialties written as prerequisites.
- A half-dozen new Ancillary Specialties have been added
- Time requirements have been slightly modified. Please check the appropriate page
