I've actually never been to a 3d movie before this, and I don't think I was expecting very much (unless it was to become annoyed). Much to my surprise, I enjoyed it!
Now, I don't think EP1 was ever meant to be translated into 3d (the number of shots where things look as if they're running directly at you is pretty limited). The one thing that made me really appreciate the movie in 3d wasn't as silly as that, though- it was the amount of detail. Being able to see things in 3d made it look as if these people were actually in the room. The clothes and the texture of things was just incredible- I really loved it.
If I didn't know that Natalie Portman was like 25 now, I would be convinced she was a 16 year old girl, lol, because she looked so life like on the screen- it was crazy.
