Hey, y'all were probably expecting Havock to post such a message with such a header, but, surprise! After a bit of roster shuffling, Havock is taking on the sole duties of Executive Officer, I've been shifted up to CC, and Skarr will be taking over as PC. I s'pose you can buy them all drinks if it pleases you.

Anyway, onto the important(er) bits of this message: the upcoming Quick Write (QW). If you've been in the VE for a while, you know what a Quick Write is, but for those of you who're a bit newer, here it is.

A Quick Write is a competition with the intention of quickly-advancing plot, with many posts coming from all over condensed into shots of pure awesome.

Now, the story itself.

As you may remember, the HSC was based around the Blanchard Corporation, a well-armed, well-funded Imperial-backed splinter group that had a hankering for VE blood and a base full of fancy-shmancy weaponry. Well, even after razing most of that base, some of them still got away. They seem to have tired of their Imperial backers, and have reached out to some black-ops New Republic groups, and such begins our story.

I can promise that some of your objectives and the setting itself will be unique, and hopefully different than we're all used to.
