Medals:

Tier 1 (Highest level of participation and sportsmanship)

Iron Heart [IH] A medal for the troopers of the Vast Empire Army that have shown their bravery, courage, and honor by increasing a squad’s or platoon’s activity and having a major effect on the overall activity of the  Corps. This is a special medal that is only to be given out four times or less a year. Platoon Commander or above can award this medal.

Tier 2

Legionnaire Medallion [LM] Granted to soldiers who display courage under fire, either in-character or out. It may be awarded by Squad Leaders and above.

Tier 3

Emperor’s Will [EW1] [EW2] Awarded to members who have shown dedication, loyalty and outstanding activity in his/her platoon. The medal has two classes with the first class being a higher honor than the second class, but is not an upgrade to the second class. This medal is only to be awarded at the end of a squad mission, platoon mission, and/or joint squad mission. Can be awarded by Squad Leaders and above.

Squad Award (given to the winner of the HSC11):

• Permission to light the annual Tadath Christmas tree at the Life Day Lighting Ceremony (should BJ win "light" does not mean the utilization of flame throwers).
• Crystal Ring of the Soldier {CRoS} Essentially the heart of any campaign and story is the plot - it encapsulates the environment which the characters are a part of. This story often starts with the commander of the unit, but rarely remains their sole province; instead, like plans for a battle, they are soon franchised out to the members in the story and often changed near beyond recognition by that process. This is rarely a bad thing, and sometimes can even be a great thing. This award recognizes those members that achieve this greatness: the people who not only participate in the plot, but add to it in such a way that it becomes greater still. This medal may be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.

Squad Leader/Assistant Squad Leaders/Special Recognition:

This years MVP scored consistently high in posting and created a large volume of graphics. For that we have chosen Dunny as our MVP.

MVP:  Dunny

• Promotion to Corporal
• Iron Gauntlet [IG] Awarded to members that have shown bravery in the bloody onslaughts of battle. During each Platoon mission one trooper from each platoon will have the honor of being awarded the Iron Gauntlet. The ID line abbreviation will distinguish which campaign the IG was awarded for. In this case the abbreviation should be [IG-HSC11]

For our graphics award we had a difficult decision, there have been several very high quality graphics submitted in this competition this year. I think that everyone that submitted a graphic deserves a round of applause.

• Red Crescent of Devotion [RCoD] A medal for the members of the Army that have increased morale and activity by keeping the attitude of the Army during hard times light and energetic. Platoon Commanders and above may give out this award.
• Cross of Distinguished Service [CDS] Recipients of this medal are courageous soldiers who have helped the Corps in numerous inventive ways, and who are the role models of the Vast Empire Army. Can be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.

Garryll:

There is one person that has gone above and beyond to make sure this competition not only happened but was excellent this year.

Garryll you have worked tirelessly to plan this competition, and grade everyones post. He developed the story, made sure everyone was on target with their objectives, and created a very awesome spreadsheet to make grading quick and efficient (for that I personally thank him).

• Steel Cross of Palpatine [SCP] This award is given only if the recipient has shown courage under fire, displayed the proper manners befitting an Imperial officer, surpassed the expectations of normal activity, and have changed the army in a positive way because of his/her actions. This medal my only be awarded by the Head of High Council and the Prefect of the Vast Empire Army.
• Heart of the Champion {HotC} Every story relies on the participation if its members. There is no story without posts being submitted and troopers taking part. However, some members do rise above their peers in, not only writing when they need to, but looking for posts they might write. These are the people who always manage to find something to offer up for their fellow troopers and always manage to give that little bit more of their time and effort in keeping the story or campaign alive and moving. This medal may be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.

Joamer:

If there's one squad that needs a strong leader its RAIDERS. Joamer you have succeeded in keeping your squad motivated and maintaining a high standard of quality in the individual posts they make. You yourself have set an example for your troopers to follow in all areas.

• Gold Ring of Merit [GRoM] A ring given to the most elite members of the Army. These are troopers that daily show the most dedication, loyalty, perseverance, courage and manner that befits an officer. The Gold Ring of Merit is for members of the Army that surpass all other members in activity and loyalty and give 100% in everything they do. The [GRoM] can be given to all Troopers active in the army.
• Cross of Distinguished Service [CDS] Recipients of this medal are courageous soldiers who have helped the Corps in numerous inventive ways, and who are the role models of the Vast Empire Army. Can be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.

Skarr

You continue to lead your squad on successful campaigns and against a few odds have remained strong in this competition and a force to be reckoned with. You command respect and activity from your troopers and they are led by your presence. On top of all this you've also excelled at your roll as the Assistant Commander of Training and kept the academy running while Luckystar was on leave in the past month.

• Promotion to 2nd Lieutenant
• Ring of Tranquility [RoT] A medal given to the officers of the Army that exhibits the qualities shown by only the most elite and active members of the Vast Empire. This medal warrants loyalty to the Vast Empire that you serve, a medal that only the most courageous officers can ever obtain. Only officers (2LT and above) can be awarded this medal.

Brightstar:

You are a veteran of this site and always try your best. You bring everything you have to the table and your troopers know this and do the same. You had real life intervene during this comp and still managed to return to us and keep your squad running.

• Promotion to Platoon Sergeant
