I know I'm not probably the only one with this question, but how long does one have to wait before doing a new spec? Can one do say A4 and then a week later get 5.1 up?

Are you talking a new Specialty altogether or moving up in your own respective Specialty?

If it's starting up a new one entirely - and if nothing's changed in terms of this, unless a change of Specialty is approved you complete the Spec, get certified and can then start a new one; If it's completing the story which is next on your list on your way to being certified, you could write it in Word but can't post it until the requirements are met

There are time requirements on the Specialization Course Wiki page. I think Lucky still has the old Spec system in her head.
