All activity will be measured on a point system. This means that for each item it will be graded out of a maximum number of points.





The heart of the HSC is the HSC storyline, so it should be no surprise that the majority of your points will come from writing.

Max Points per post: 15

Writing expectations:

Must have an absolute minimum of 200 words to earn any points. Must have at least 700 words to earn max points.
Posts must at least move the story along somehow to be counted for points.
Posts that make my eyes bleed with count for negative points.
As a reminder, character development is fine, just DO NOT make it your entire post. Also, remember where you are and what you SHOULD be doing.

Remember this is a large story which you will be contributing to, do not be shocked if a post needs to be removed to prevent confusion (the removed post will be PMed to you so you can edit it). Our emphasis is quality over quantity. We are in 11 ABY, Thrawn hates us, the New Republic hates us, and we are currently in a campaign to eventually take Courscant and the Core worlds. Currently, we are taking inner-rim planets one by one. For the HSC we will be retaking Anteevy, by force, again, in an attempt to completely squash their operation and secure our hold on the territory.




Its not always the case that Graphics will follow Writing in point value, but for the HSC we always bring a bit of fun to the jpg's of life.

Graphics must be your original work.
Any canvas or medium is acceptable as long as the graphic can be posted on the Graphic Submission Thread.
Graphics should have a Star Wars, Winter, and/or December Holiday of your choice theme.
Graphics will be graded on Adherence to the Theme, Quality, and Creativity.





Gaming is what brought many of us together in the first place. This category is tiered when it comes to points. Games that require teamwork and strategy will receive more points that single player and/or flash games.

This is a big category. Several things fall under its umbrella. The awesome thing about the HSC and any comp is that almost any activity counts as points to help your squad be the winner.

Here is a list of things that count as points under the Misc Category:
Recruiting - new recruit must complete the academy and attachment duty, once they are placed in a squad you will receive points for them.
Wiki work - If you create a wiki for an NPC, your squads objectives, pretty much anything as long as it was created FOR THE HSC. Personal wikis being updated isn't part of this category.
Good Sportsmanship - This one is fairly self explanatory, but if you are caught by anyone in the AHC/Platoon Staff/or your SL/ASL acting like a true leader and assisting others or starting up gaming sessions, anything that is active and in good harmony with the universe you may just earn your Squad some extra points. This also works the other way around, we catch you being a douche you will lose points for your squad.

Max Points per Misc Submission = 3

Quality is far more important than quantity, keep that in mind.

Other than personally embroidered Santa hats? Actually you get a special prize from the ICS that your squad will get to use on missions and there will be individual prizes for the Top Writer, Top Gamer, and Top Artist as well as a very special MVP.
