Towers rose up, reaching towards the stars, creating a craggy surface spreading as far as the eye could see. It had been a long time since Havock had seen the metallic expanse that was Coruscant. The sight of it sent a shiver down her spine.

She couldn't remember a time she was on the planet capital that it had been a good experience. Yet now, she sat in the co-pilot seat of Jaenna's Redthorn Class shuttle staring blankly at one of the last places in the galaxy she wanted to be right now.

Jaenna had left her alone shortly after they entered hyperspace. She didn't want Havock to come, but that wasn't an option. They had spent too long apart and she knew the look Jaenna had in her eye when she was saying goodbye. This wasn't just a simple spice run, this was personal. Havock had enough of the secrets and the emotional distance.

"So we finally got here." Jaenna fell into the pilots chair and started checking the controls.

Havock regarded her for several moments. She looked tired, among other emotions Ayme wasn't equipped to understand. "Yea, we are in orbit, I figured you would have an answer for the control tower as to how we are not stormtroopers."

"Chicken."

"Don't start."

Havock watched as Jaenna dealt with landing port security and guided the shuttle in for a landing at one of the docking bays. They were no where near the city center, which would help keep them off the radar of anyone. What they were there for would raise several alarms on all sides of the political spectrum, so the lower the profile the better.

Havock checked her dual pistols on each hip as she pulled her black military jacket around her arms. "We need to find a place to stay while we're here, any ideas."

"I always have ideas." Jaenna brushed past her and headed towards the exit of the shuttle leaving the other woman in her wake.

Havock sighed and double checked the ring in her jacket pocket for the hundredth time. She wanted to wear the ring, she loved Jaenna, that wasn't a question in her mind. But whether Jaenna was ready to be loved was still up in the air for her. This was a good opportunity to find out, or get killed by her best friend's mother. Sounded like a fun afternoon regardless.
