Also, the character I created, Kalab Khan, is a loner character. Being born in the Unknown Regions, and new to the empire, he prefers to stay by himself. He's a good guy, who willing aids the rebellion, but will not join them.

Is it possible to play the character like this here?

Well, first off, you can post your intro in the Academy board.

And second, it is possible to RP as a loner character, but he has to join the Vast Empire. If you could think of a reason for him to join the Vast Empire, he could still be a loner. Just a loner with an allegiance.

Technically he dosn't even need to give a damn about the empire. He can hate it, just as long as you don't write about a huge betrayal where you single handedly destroy everything.
