They do. Your career post count is determine by both your posts within the official scope of the Vast Empire military and by things that deepen the background of your character. This's because that post count is about exactly that- your character and their interactions with the world, including but not limited to official VE business.

actually, I think I'll comply with the ban on this one. I mean, I do need to work more on current events, rather than past events. So... no heavy CD from me (in terms of nightmares or flashbacks). But... the squirrel is more or less the extent of the CD I'm going with in this story... and possibly future stories, depending on mission details and if I'm working with others.
