This thread be used by the commanders to track awards and promotions, as well as general naval updates.

Just a few things today to go over.

Promotions:
MCPO Trykon to WO2
Reason: stepping in for his commander while Slasher was away, effort put into the Vena, and consistent story posting.

SCRW Dunny to PO2
Reason: high activity, both on IRC and in story.

Awards:

Merit Cross 2nd Class to:
PO1 Avalar
PO2 Scral
MCPO Maroy

Reason: continued activity on the Squadron/Task Force story as well as IRC.

Keep up the good work everyone.

We've also added two officer ranks to hopefully break the usual problem of people getting to CWO then never advancing.

From the Officer of the Commander of Naval Training:

Please help me in welcoming both Trykon and Ellesmere to their new positions within the Vast Empire Naval Academy.

Promotions:

Warrant Officer 2nd Class Trykon is promoted to the position of Fleet Training Officer, in addition to his post of Executive Officer of Training.

Job Description:

The Fleet Training Officer is directly in charge of the training of those training for both SCTP, and for CSS. Answers to the CNT, and NHC.

Petty Officer Second Class Ellesmere is promoted to the position of Starfighter Training Officer, and Squadron Commander of the the Raptor Training Squadron.

Job Description:

The Starfighter Training Officer is directly in charge of the training of new pilots, and commands the Training Squadron.

Trykon is also being recognized with the Noble Service Medal for his work for the Academy while I have been busy with RL activities.
