Greetings everyone,

Thought I would throw up a report for everyones viewing pleasure. Let's get straight to it.

Activity : Although we've slowed a bit, I see no reason to fear. Finals are fast approaching and causing many of our members to divert some more time to their studies, their reasoning is still unknown to me but that's beside the point. With that said, I'm very happy with everyones continued effort on the Fleet story as well as other facets of the VE life. Keep up the great work!

One thing I have noticed recently is the relatively low amount of work on the certifications. These are by no means first priority, however, they can add more dimensions to your character and aid in sculpting them later on, not to mention its easy to get a promotion

Before I finish, here's a short list of people who's received a promotion :

LCRW Tibby -> Senior Crewman for his activity since joining the VEN. I look forward to seeing his career flourish.

LCRW Ellesmere -> Senior Crewman for her activity and steady reporting/IRC presence.

CPO Trykon -> Senior Chief Petty Officer for his continued dedication to writing, the VENA, and the SCTP the he and Slasher are working on.

Congratulations to all them for their efforts.

Hello again everyone,

I noticed tryk gave a short report at the meeting, 12 hours ago, however I have a bit more details.

So lets get to it.

First off, I'm very impressed with the amount of consistent activity everyone's kept. I know we have people with finals, jobs, kids, parents, etc. but everyone is to be commended on their current performance, keep it up!

Reports are still on the low end, but better than before, again, nice to see improvement. Try to remember to get it in on time. it helps the commanders improve the VE/VEN.

Activities : We've finished the recent fleet story, so everyone is free to write in individual or small unit stories as they wish for a while. Squadrons, this goes for you as well, although you'll need to stay as a group.

Now for the good stuff, promotions and medals!

Drac: Promoted to Commander

Romanflame : Promoted to Ensign on field promotion until completion of FOCE. Given command of CR-90 Reaper.

Trykon : Promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer and given command of the CR-90 Defiance.

DeepSix: Promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer

Slasher: Promoted to 1st Lt. and awarded the Star of Valor for great activity and being instrumental to the operation of 2nd Fleet.

Amacuse: Promoted to Warrant Officer 1st Class and awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for extremely high, long-term activity and inspiring his people to very high activity as well.

Avalar: Awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class and promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class.

Ellesmere: Awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class and promoted to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Maroy: Promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer and awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class.

Scral: Awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class.

With the promotion of a few members to bigger ships, it leaves the possibility for newer members to begin training in Ship Captaincy. If you would like to take command of a light cruiser, please contact Rocketman, Slasher, Drac, Atrasin, and Stormz via ComNet PM and explain why you feel you're a good candidate.
