Hey Phoenix Company

In lieu of a meeting you get a message from me. Squads are posting along steadily and Wildcard has just started a new story.

When you guys are posting make sure you try to hit the 500 word mark. Also work on moving the story along, if you are in doubt about where you can take the story ask your SL or ASL.

Wildcard lets try to get a jump on our new story, I know we all have issues in real life but if you get a moment pop on IRC and someone can catch you up so its not that hard to jump in.

Make sure we are helping each other and involving each other in posts. Also check your wiki, since the migration many of the pictures and formatting has been altered so its worth a look even if you haven't seen your wiki in years

I want to see some awesome activity so I have some shinies to give out next week so lets get it done peeps.

I'd like to add that the average post per squad member this week was...

Obviously this is hugely dissapointing and I'd like to try and remind everyone of how the HSC went and the reason it was a quick write. The army's squad stories were dissapearing up their own ass in a haze of lengthy self indulgent CD posts that didn't send the story anywhere

Sometimes 500 words of pure action to move the story along is great, don't finish off fight scenes in two posts, stretch them out so everyone can get involved and orientated! The army has always and will always work best with action stories that move along at pace, the DJO and Osk can afford stories that flag, the army can't.

So if you don't feel you have time, just put together a few hundred words and get involved! I'd love to see a minimum of 2 posts per person this week.

SLs and ASLs always make sure your stories are accessible, your aim is to guide your squad through the story, not set it up so you have to drive it yourself
