Welcome to the Vast Empire Naval Academy, Crewman Huff. I'm Petty Officer Maroy, a flight member in Regent Squadron. Welcome Recruit Huff, to the Vast Empire Naval Academy, on Platform Cappadocious.

I am Chief Warrant Officer Rorran "Slasher" Gorma, Executive Officer of the Academy. Welcome to the academy, pretty soon you'll be writing stories of adventure, heartbreak, whatever, the whole 9 yards.

But first there is just a little bit of paperwork we call basic training that you'll need to get through, minor stuff, nobody's died in years... though we still haven't found a few of those cadets from last class... anyway, not to worry, you're in capable hands.
