i was born on tatooine had a lot of bad spats with people eventually i got caught by an imperial officer who offered me two choices either go to prison or join the navy and clear my record so i did and here i am if only my parents could see me now they would be so proud of me

Welcome Recruit:

I am Chief Warrant Officer Rorran "Slasher" Gorma, Executive Officer of the Academy. Welcome to the academy, pretty soon you'll be writing stories of adventure, heartbreak, whatever, the whole 9 yards.

But first there is just a little bit of paperwork we call basic training that you'll need to get through, minor stuff, nobody's died in years... though we still haven't found a few of those cadets from last class... anyway, not to worry, you're in capable hands.
