Good question, why don't you all tell me! Reply to this read with the option you want and an explanation, if any.
1) Lets us do our own thing. We'd like to do our own squad stories
2) Another Army wide campaign
3) A 2v2 squad competition

Don't think my opinion matters much here but I know I would like to see another Army-wide campaign since you don't see those every day. Who knows, miht even inspire some of the Recruits to be active in Drill and be placed faster! |

Campaigns ironically tend to lead to temporary drops in activity towards the end/afterward. Probably not best to overdo them, fun as they can be.

I would most definitely like to continue with doing our own thing at the moment. With Eclipse Sqaud still being new, I don't want to scare off any of the new recruits coming to my squad away with an army wide campaign. Let's get back into a normal sort of routine, before coming up with another campaign. But of course, the decision is up to you guys. The focus should be on squad development. Competitions should arise out of confidence, and should rarely be used as activity or morale boosters. Once you have the squads up and tight, then the big projects can be put on the table. You need to get people proud of their squads, and the best way to do that is by getting experienced, well tested squad leaders to lead them through well-planned and organized squad stories in which they each have a vital part. From my own experience, back when I was in Arnaut's Wraith- I used to look forward to being in a new story of his. He was an excellent SL and he knew how to tell a story. Get the troopers to want to be a part of that. Have the SL coach them each into becoming a better writer, and reward people for their hard work with promotions and medals. Without the squads, the army is nothing. Make the squads, make the army.
So yeah. I rarely go on and on like that. But the STC should focus on the squad stories. On GOOD squad stories.
