You did NOT join a private game server for SWG you joined a Star Wars CLUB that focuses primarily on writing Star Wars fan-fiction. Why don't you give it a shot? It might be fun. As to SWG, we DO support SWG as some form of official activity but no, we do not offer a private server nor do we have enough members that actually play to form any kind of group on there.
