DJO and Osk Applications

Soon I will be running an application system for both DJO and OSK. The DJO is desperate for some highly talented writers and Osk are also really interested to pick up some more members (imho they could especially do with some pilots)
I'm going to outline how this system is going to work:
Stage 0: Your application forms are sent to me via PM
Stage 1: There will be an initial sift of the applications by myself. Those getting through this phase will be passed on to relevant division members in Osk and the DJO
Stage 2: Group appraisal, each division's leaders will look at all of the applicants and make a decision. We will get back to you if we require any more information at this stage
Stages 3: For Osk a set of applicants will be selected and invited to join a story. The Osk Captains will pick members from this story to join their crews. For those of you lucky enough to join the DJO you will begin your long and arduous training.

DJO application form
1) Will you be joining the DJO with your existing character or creating a new one?
2) In less than 600 words tell us either I) how you feel your character will fit into the Jedi Order discussing how they will feel about their new abilities and react or ii) tell us about the history and personality of your new character
3) In less than 600 words tell us about what you see in the future for your character. What kind of Dark Jedi will they become, (for example a psychotic murderer or absent minded scholar, you will not be held to this upon recruitment)
4) Tell us how active you see yourself being over the next sixth months and about how busy you have been for the past six.
5) What makes you a good writer?
6) Include a short recommendation from a superior officer
7) Include a sample of old or new writing which you see as your best work

You are free to apply for both divisions, the only limitation is that 3 months of active service is required to apply for the DJO
All applications must be pm'd to me by the 30th of january.
The DJO is looking for the very best writers in the VE so take time with your application, but remember if you don't apply you can't get in. I have no preconception about the number of applicants I'll be taking on - if I think you'll flourish you're in. The DJO is a very different environment to the other divisions, you'll be expected to motivate yourself to write deeply personal stories exploring your characters descent into the darkness.
The osk application will involve a "trial by fire" of writing with osk if you get through the first phases, the captains will be looking to recruit characters for their ships and they'll all look for different things.
