Arthur was walking around the station thinking about the last mission and how he could have done better.  He came up with the idea to have just his flight go out on a training mission but he needed to talk to Cali, and Rocket.  Arthur headed right for his room to start drawing up the plans.  When he finished writing out the plans he started to head over to Cali’s office to find out if he can do it.  He also sent a message over to Rocket’s data-pad asking him to meet in Cali’s office.  When He got to her office he knocked and was let in, a few moments later Rocket came walking in as well.

“Ok I asked for Rocket to be here because I have a question for the both of you.  You all know about what happened in our last mission, and I would like to know if I could take a few pilots from all the squads out for a training mission.  The mission I have planned would be for both space and ground training.”  Konebeso handed them his well thought out plan giving both location and people involved.  “I know you might have to get the ok from higher up on the command chain, but I think this would be beneficial for the VEN as a whole.”

The room was quite for about five minuets while both Rocket and Cali looked over his notes and all the information he gathered about the moon, and the few Trainers he picked.  When Cali looked up she started to talk to Rocket in a soft voice which Arthur could not hear what was being said.  Then suddenly she spoke up.

“We have talked this through, and we decided to send the request along to the Wing Commander.  We will let you know what he has decided when we hear from him.” She told him.

Arthur walked out of the  room and was glad his idea was not shot down right away now he just hoped he gets the ok from Jaden.  Konebeso once again started his everyday work out.  When he finished he headed to the cantina to grab a bite to eat and a large glass of his famous tea.

He woke up the next day to see that sometime in the middle of the night he received a message from Cali giving the thumbs up on the mission.  Arthur gathered the few pilots in the hanger bay.  At the shuttle the group of trainers waited for Arthur’s group to join them.  When they were all on board Arthur told the pilot to take them to the location.

The flight took about an hour, and everyone was quickly disembarked Arthur gathered his flight in the Briefing room, and began to tell them why they were here.

“Ok guys this is a joint flight training mission.  We are going to work on some of the more advanced combat maneuvers, but we are also going to the moons surface to work on ground training.  Don’t worry all the lasers are weakened and there are no asteroids in the space around us.” Arthur told them.  “First we are going against two droid controlled flights the first flight is waiting just far enough away from the base that we can work on our strategies.  We will use our basic combat on them and you will start to learn how to use some advanced, but the second wave will be set on a harder level and you will need to use the maneuvers I will teach you.”

With that Arthur sent word to the command station to deploy the droid flight.  When he received word that they were at the correct locations he started to move his flight towards the hanger bay door.  When in Arthur powered up his ship, and opened his com to the flight.

“Flights call in.” Konebeso said.

With all the flights green Arthur pulled his TIE out into the deep of space.  He waited for Kazack to join them.  It wasn't a very long wait.  When everyone was out he opened his com to all ships.

"Ok everyone hold back here, and I'll show you the first maneuver its called the Outside Loop.  You need to be going six hundred knots or more to do it, and it looks a little like this." Romanflame said.

He punched his TIE up to six hundred knots, and after he hit the mark he begin to pull back and began the loop.  It felt like it took an hour to get to the top of the loop, but it was only few minutes.  At the top he kept holding it there, and made his way back around.

"That is the Outside Loop going up is fun but the coming back around is the scary part, are there any questions?" Arthur asked.  There were no questions surprisingly.  "Try this out quickly then we can move on to the next."

Romanflame let them each do it twice before he moved on to the next lesson.  What should I teach next the Square Loop or the Knife-Edge Pass.  I'll start with the Knife-Edge Pass because it is a little harder to preform.

"Ok the next move I'll teach is the Knife-Edge Pass.  For this one you only need to be going a three hundred knots." Arthur said.

Romanflame got to a little over three hundred knots and dropped down five hundred feet.  He pulled his TIE in a roll and stopped when he was perfectly sideways.  He use a forward pressure on the stick to maintain a constant heading.  He held it for a minute so they could see what he was doing and when he was sure they knew what to do he rolled back and climbed two thousand feet.

"That was fun, now are there any questions?" Arthur asked.

"How did you keep from making a bank turn?"  Kazack asked.

"Oh, you must hold the stick in a forward and constant heading."

He noticed that the first couple of runs the were banking, but they soon figured out how to keep the craft level.  While they were working on that he decided to teach them one more and then let them get some real practice in.  This time he waited till they did it three times because it was harder to hold the craft straight.

"Ok, I will teach you guys one more before I let you loose on the drones.  Its called the Square Loop, and once again about five hundred knots or faster."  Arthur told them.

He started his run the pulled back extremely hard on the stick and became vertical.  After a little while he did it once again, and a few moments later he repeated it.  He made his finial turn and was level once again.

With no questions he let them work it out a few time. When he felt they were ready he had them move towards the first drones.
