Rules and thread for discussing the story. Rules
1. WritingThe story will be a quick write. Posts must be between 300 and 600 words in length. This is going to be an all action story and the squad leaders are going to get you right in the thick of things from the word go. Posts will be awarded 3-6 points. I'm looking for good grammar and interesting posts that keep moving the story along at pace. 2. Graphics All graphical entries will be awarded 1-10 points. This is so we can range a whole range of entries. A very lightly modified avatar will fetch 1 point an amazingly hand drawn scene of the battle of Agea will fetch 10 points. Submissions to be placed in the thread. 3. GamingI will accept screenshots of any multiplayer game that involves more than 1 VE member. Winning a game gets 3 points. Taking part(and not winning) in a game against at least one member FROM ANOTHER SQUAD will net you 1 point 4. Sub competitionsThere will be several little comps run through the campaign. Most creative use of the quick write format, Best holiday avatar, Best banner, Best holiday squad wiki page. The winners will be announced once the campaign is closed and will be awarded: 15, 5 and 3 points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. As you can see, with 92 points up for grabs in these sub competitions the outcome of these could swing the results at the last moment. One other notice. Current score will be updated on here (in graphical format) at the end of every week. Sqiad stories will be temporarily paused for the HSC. The Holiday Squad Competition 2010 is now officially open! Good question,
If no one else in your characters situation (currently that means squad as they are all seperate, but later on two squads may link up and obviously a member of each squad is allowed to write off each other) for 6 hours then you may double post.
