My introduction

Hey folks! Name's Kyle.

I've always loved science fiction. Naturally, my first true science fiction love as a child was Star Wars. First movie I saw, and I immediately fell in love with the bright weapons, the glowing swords, and that one dude in the black armor that had a special love for choking people!

Despite my love for it, I'm not one of those SW buffs. In fact, my knowledge if Star Wars barely goes beyond episodes four, five, and six. But I'm familiar with wookiepedia, and quick to learn.

I guess that's about it.

Welcome to Vast Empire Navy. I recommend you check in at the academy which you can found here: http://comnet.imperialnetwork.com/topic/13175/

One of their officers will get you properly orientated, in the meantime you can always jump on the IRC channel or generally lurk around.

Hey man, thanks for the link! I received an email telling me that an instructor would email me, so I was waiting for that, because I have a question.

From what I've seen (and that's not even a small portion of the website) the "navy" is entirely made of flight crews for fighter squadrons.

Are capital ships not on here? My interest is in the big, slower behemoths.
