Imported the story out-line from the previous thread. The basic idea probably isn't going to change, but we'll need to see who's still around.
Basic format and infastructure for the group is also going to change. If anyone doesn't remember what that was or never knew in the first place, let me know and I'll post something up.
Quote:So, here are some preliminary details about The Ghost Fleet's first story. Feel free to comment about it here, but if you want to make any actual suggestions, then PM me or catch me on IRC. I don't want to turn this thread into a planning committee.
Title: A Close Run Thing.
Synopsis: This story is split into two parts. The first part has to be managed slightly, but the second part will switch to open-ended combat.
Part 1
We all start the story in difference places. Me and Will are on Patrol. Jaden is with the Dead Gun somewhere, and Stormz and Driver are escorting a diplomatic Envoy to VE territory.
Through the "random twists of fate" that serve as the basis of every story. Me, Will, Stormz and Driver will end up running into each other on the border. This is the managed part, because me and Driver haven't actually seen each other since he shot me down, and I really really hate him.
At first, I don't know Driver is there, as he's now with his private military. There's a little meet and greet aboard the envoy ship where me and Driver suddenly become face to face with each other and there's a little bit of a scuffle.
We both get back to our ships, and I'm seriously considering blowing the crap out of him whilst Willt and Stormz try to calm things down. Meanwhile, Jaden just happens to show up whilst taking the Dead Gun on a shake down cruiser.
Driver thinks I called in back up to help deal with him, so he calls in some of his own forces, and we have a kind of escalation/face off thing building.
Part II
Before either side can pull the trigger however, we're jumped by a third party who want nothing but the death of the envoy. After a brief 'WTF' moment, we all band together and defeat the enemy whilst Driver's NPC fleet escorts the envoy to safety.
Not much else to say here, as I said, it'll be more open.
That's everything I think. If you have any questions, just ask.
