Story 1: Basic Electronics/Wiring

Christian walked the hall to his class. He had spent the last week studying up on wires and electronics and he was sure he could fix most electronics.
He opened the door and took the seats near the window. He hoped the sunlight would help him think clearly while he was here. He could not afford any goof ups now.
The teacher of the class had more than his fair share of scars and burns. It was not hard to guess how he got them.
The teacher looked at the rest of the students who had gotten there just a little before Christian. Counting Christian there where twenty others, and still many empty seats left over.

"Thats enough people. Anyone else who wants to come will just have to catch the next class. Now my name is John Vel. You all know what your here to learn and I am not going to make you read a text book to learn it. Here we will be doing hands on work."
He announced as a droid with many scorch marks floated by and passed out disassembled blasters, comm links, and GPS'. Everyone got one of each....

"Now you have one hour and thirty minutes to reassemble all these items and put them back in working order. The time starts now."

Christian looked at his tools. He had a multi tool with a built in hydrospanner, hydro grip, and other basic things. Christian got to work on the blaster first. He quickly got it back together but something was not right.
The Tibanna Gas canister is in backwards....I did not do that. Better fix it or it will not be able to fire. Then Christian moved onto the Comm unit. The comm unit was a little harder to fix simply because it was an older model. Strangely this one had something wrong with it that could not have come from Christians end.
It was the battery connection this time. Christian barely noticed it before he sealed the case. He quickly fixed it then moved on to the GPS. The gps was the hardest to fix and Christian just finished with a good ten minutes left. He had also run across a serious problem. The screen was set to drain more energy from the battery than it could handle. If it was turned on it would explode in a mini blast or electricity.
Ten minutes later Mr. Vel Announced that the time was up. He pressed a button from his desk and a hidden cabinet slid out of all the students desks. He then said,
"For your safety please put on the blast shield masks that are in the cabinets."
Everyone in class did as they were told. He added,
"Now I want everyone to turn on the GPS' in turn."
As they did mini explosions, and screams could be heard from half of the students desks. But Christian's powered up just fine.
John said
"From the sound of that I am guessing half of you did not notice that the screen was taking more energy then it could handle. It's a shame for you who did not fix that problem. I will be seeing you back in this class in a few weeks. For those who did fix it lets move on to the Comlink. Please start it and put it on speaker."

As the rest of the remaining students followed the teachers commands Christian smiled. He saw where this was going and he was ninety-nine percent sure he had fixed all the problems with his projects. Once the class turned on the comm unit static could only be heard from one-third of the little machines. Including Christian's. The rest of them had not come on at all. John Vel did not have to explain and just said to the remaining students,
"For those who remain pick up your blasters and fire at the droid that had passed out the projects earlier."

Christian made sure he was the last to fire. He could here clicks going on throughout the class and no one else blaster fired except for three other students. Christian picked up his blaster and fired at the scorched droid. He added another scorch mark to the poor droid.
The teacher smiled and announced.
"All of you who got to hit the droid....have passed."

Heya Blazer

Okay some suggestions. Try not to over use your Name, read through your first paragraph again and notice now often you say "teacher" and "Christian" as long as you establish in the paragraph its Christian doing those things you can use "he/him" or "the young trooper" or any other descriptor for your guy.

Watch your formatting, it may be the word processor you used and it went wonky but you need to double check that before you post.

Also your character builds/fixes some projects. I would need you to explain about the components he is coming across. So he knows what a transistor and circuit board and whatever else he would find in those devices, there needs to be an explanation as to how he knows these things or show him learning these things.

Definitely needs to be longer and if you add in that stuff it naturally will be, good effort though keep at it

"Working on that now. Will update after I get my ideas done on notepad. Thanks for the advice."
