That's right, it's finally time for me to say my goodbyes. And if you're wondering "yea, but he'll be back..." Not exactly. For some time now my mind has been on other things and it's been difficult for me to focus my efforts as a member of the NHC. If you haven't already noticed, I've been trying to push a lot of things through lately, as I believe (in my heart of hearts) that I just know how to do it and the time for argument is over. Usually- I wouldn't do that, but I felt like my ability to give time to this place was running to a close and I just needed to do what had to be done. Unfortunetly, my efforts won't materialize for me personally, but perhaps for all of you? Either way, I have a lot of people to thank, but I'll try to be brief.
First of all- Kadann Thanks for making this great website- it's been a major part of my life for last (what- almost seven years?) For those of you who don't know, I've actually floated around this place since 1999; I was in third grade when I first came across this place. I was a member as Doggy- then kicked out for immaturity and a single, very foolish action.. I spent several months trying to work my way back in, and in 2003, I think, I finally got back in as Shazam. The rest, as you know, is history, but I would not be half the writer or have been able to enjoy Star Wars as deeply had it not been for this place, so my thanks
To all of the people who so valiantly flew alongside me through my time as a pilot Chip, Jen, Jaden, Art, Will, Jack, Darius- the list just goes on and on. And for those of you who helped me to bounce around ideas (even if they turned out to be horendous bereuarocracies, lol): I learned a lot.
To all of you who may not have been in the Navy but have been people I've known and looked up to- Fury, Talon, Kadann; a lot of Army folks- Cos, Rizz. You're all great people and I hope the best for you.
As of now, I am resigning myself of all my duties- the Naval Executive Officer, the Gaming Squad commander and the Vast Empire Today chief editor. I'm afraid that this will be my last correspondence on this website, unless there is some time in the future that I might stop by Thank you all, again, and I hope the best to you in the future
