    == Background History ==
  Apprenticed as a trader to a Givin aboard a Star Galleon-class Frigate for several years, trading is not the only thing he has learned. Nok has quietly begun designing entire lines of 'modifications' for ships and droids that would sell well in the commercial markets. in resent years Nok has been tryng to earn the credit necessary to get his own ship and droid manufacturing equipment. Nok will tell anyone that might ask how he earned his name while working for the Given..."I earned my name after 're manufacturing' a set of 10 medical droids as a respectable droid repair team. which we were able to sell to a remote hospital station with an over abundance of medical droids due to an administrative error. Hmm, I guess even an accountant can make a mistake... but one would think that there would be some form of checks and balances in place to prevent the ordering of 1000 medical droids and 10 medical droid replacement components rather than the other way round, oh well, their loss was our gain." Unfortunately the Given kept the coin and Nok only got to keep the name.

  Within a day of leaving the Givin Nok'Rik had already recived an offer with a mega copreration, building basic droid models. Not publicly known, Nok freely used the many and frequent opportunities to dig through the scrap bins and collect bits and pieces of discards and Et-cetera. Additionally, Nok downloaded/hacked copys of the basic modles of the droids being manufactured that he had access to, Unfortunately a parting of the ways occurred when several assassian droids made an unsceduled visit to an executive board meating and trumped the elected members with blasters, this ultimately resulted in multible issues of missing paychecks and matters of faulty communication and coordination throughout, the company broke down and has since been nationalised. Months of unemployment followed the board meetings decisions, and Nok finally decided that he might do better in the regular service, "hopefully I will be able to work my way into an engeneering department or better yet a Design and development position." And thus Nok'Rik enlisted in the Navy.

    == Character's Personality ==
  Nok'Rik is a Cautions adventurer. He tends to be meticulious and plan details as far as possible. He often considers spontinaity as pure foolishness, though he himself has on occasion been foolish and lucky too. Nok tends to take what others might consider trash or of no particular value items and puts them to his own use. While he won't take what is clearly owned or claimed by another person he has no qulams about sorting trashbins and recyclers for useful parts. expessialy if he can repair it and sell it back to you for a handy profit. 

  Nok is a tinkerer by birth, he just can't leave well enough alone. but his greatest abilitys behond the trader skills are Droids and Starships.

  Nok is also a dreamer, He has hopes of building his own trade empire. A fleet of ships and trade outposts or stations in every star system one day.

  In his early life with the Given, Nok experianced a bad trade deal with a Gamorrean. To this day he bares the reminder in the form of a scar on the back of his right hand. Don't forget to plan everything, including an escape path. It turned out that the Gamorrean was a wanted fugitive, and he did not care about others caught in the crossfire.

  Standing a tall 2.1 meters (6' 10"+) , and a lean 90.71Kg (200Lbs). Often wearing a form fitting imitation leather ship suit of deep gray with cuffs, collar, and belt line of black. additionally wearing a utility belt with several small pouches, a tan engineers vest, small black pack with an attached water flask, and a empty shell of a short range comm set often hanging from one ear, of which Nok says "one day I hope to replace the innards of this thing. I have Already amassed many bits and pieces which could restore the unit to its former original function, it is what I hope to make of it that I am holding out before starting to re-assymble it anew."

Actually javascript:smilie(''), I had an unexpected RL issue intrude and simply sent the text cold javascript:smilie(''). Normally I proof my work and alter it extensively before sending it out. Thanks though. And normally I rarly use smilies in my work, but what the heck. Gotta shake it up occasionally or things get musty and stale.

For the last few days Nok has been sitting around the repel depel, recruit assessment and indoctrination center for the laymen. awaiting any word on what and where to go next, at the end of the day as they lock up the shop at the repel depel, Nok is greeted by several Navel personal by name even, and still no word yet on his application status, Nok ambles on over to the Stone Pony Inn for yet another night.

Nok truly takes heart at the fact that his name is known by so many new and veterans in and around the repel depel. During the day Recruit Nok'Rik goes from desk to desk and answers questions, get finger printed, and signs reams of data prints about his past, present and future associations, actions, and intentions, yet none of these people seam to know when Nok might get any information regarding orders to training center or any where else for that mater besides of course the next desk.

You know, you would think that after so many century's of recruiting practices, Doctor's would have a better what to check for hernia then to have a very cute nurse stand next to them with a clipboard taking notes while the doctor says "Turn you head to the right and cough." while he grabs you by the... any way... It is just not to dignified to stand in rows with your trousers and short down round your ankles while  pretty young nurses stand around you taking notes.  while waiting to move to the next desk or station Nok had opportunity to chat with a random recruit, or possibly it was simply a delusional conversation created by his own mind in times of excessive boardum...

Those huge melon like heads and extremely long fingers kinda sent a chill up the spine during the hernia and other procedures, and I am pretty sure it was not caused by that Thyferran Nurse, Bri, you know, I never realised that a nursing uniform could quite be altered in just such a manner and still be called a proper uniform, know what I mean? And that voice, wasted in nursing, she should be in a musical or a soloist, something, it was like listening to a song bird outside the window when you wake in the early morning, ya know what I mean?"

And so Nok resumes his typical day of waiting. Maybe Nok can vent some more to that Army vet that owns the "Stone Pony Inn" accross the street tomorrow.
