Your best bet is a library if you just want to read up, or a book store if you want to keep your research material. For tactics, etc there's nothing better than soldiers' biographies if you want to get a feel for how it actually flows rather than just the cold, hard facts.
If you want a more personal, in-depth experience with it, I'd recommend searching online for a paintball scenario game in your area. Participating in the game is best, though watching will work. See if you can hook up with an organized team and watch how they work together. Odds are they'll be more than happy to show you their tactics and techniques. (In fact, if you live near Oklahoma, my team'd be happy to help.) Scenario style paintball is, more or less, battle reenactment with weapons that hurt a little, but don't do real damage.
