Cipher and my alt char Specter will be on indefinite leave until such a time as I find I can balance everything going on and find a time to post on this site. In all likely hood I may only come back once or twice to make some posts in whatever stories are ongoing, but I doubt I will return to any long-term activity.

I find it hard to write on this site with any given consistency since I find the freedom for creativity is greatly restricted. Of course some order is necessary on an rpg site, but I find that shoving someone in a squad or squadron with them having no choice in the decision and then having them obey whatever orders their superiors give them and having a rather strict chatroom (since pulling rank is a common there) as well as being sent on missions and storylines that are all a little repetitive restrict creativity and my ability to write. I agree that some order is necessary, such as a rank system. But I disagree that the writer has virtually no choice into which squad/squadron or situation their character is put. All the squads are made up of actual characters, which makes it hard to do a storyline with the entire squad when one or two characters are on LOA or just don't post, instead of having your char in a squad where he may be a private, but all the other members are blanks. It creates freedom to move around a bit and exercise the creativity that is such a necessity to writing.
