Alrighty, as I promised last week, we, as in Javelin Wing, and indirectly the Naval Academy, are going to be moving to some newer facilities. Stormz, I apologize in advance, I didn't realize this change would actually affect the VENA as well until after everything's been planned, but please bear with me.
And to make sure Jaden, Drac, and Cali don't freak out, these changes will only be applied canonnically until after the joint practice mission. However, non-canonnical changes should be made soon.
So, here's the changes:
- Through his participation in the Ghost Fleet, Jaden has been assigned a new ship to command, the
Dead Gun. It is a Victory-class SD.
- Due to that change, and him being the WC of Javelin Wing, Tuk'ata and R2 are being transferred to it, and will from this point on be using this VSD as the Mobile Base of Operations instead of the
Atrus.
Now, some of you may have noticed that in recent weeks, I have finished the complete listing of all Naval Forces in the First and the Second Fleet, the Defensive and Offensive Fleets, respectively. Along with them, are the assignments of the "newly" listed task forces. If you notice, Task Force Aurek, the one we are in, is assigned to the defense of Abrae and Vectra. However, because of that assignment, the
Dead Gun cannot participate in the Ghost Fleet because he can't leave Vectra, and thus can't go on adventures with the rest of the group.
- So, in order to accommodate that, the
Dead Gun has been transferred to Task Force Resh, currently stationed at Bannith, in the second fleet. The Second Fleet, being the Offensive Fleet that it is, is mostly assigned to front line systems. Bannith is at the north eastern corner of VE controlled space. You can find a map to it on the Naval Fleets page in the wiki.
- Along with the new fleet details, I have also, completed the new Wing number assignments.
Those may be viewed here. As you will see, Javelin Wing is no longer the 1st Vast Imperial Wing, and has been rebranded to 58th. This number is simply based off the Wing's current base's, Dead Gun's, position within the Vast Empire Navy.
I did not assign squadron numbers because I felt it's better to not take away all our originality and freedom. Besides, we didn't even choose to be the 1st Wing anyhow.
So in order to accommodate these changes, all current and future members will need to edit their ID lines accordingly: W:58 Javelin/VSD

Also, Stormz, and all VENA Staffs, please note that the VENA has also been assigned new wing numbers. 15, 46, and 73. You are free to choose which one you want to have for Raptor Squadron. W:#/ PLF
Saratoga/TF:TH/3FL. All Training material relating to ID Lines should be updated to reflect these changes as well.
