Hello Narod! Welcome to the Vast Empire Naval Academy. Our trainer for this portion of training will be along shortly. You will get to fly with me in the latter portion of training. But for now, enjoy the scenery, get on the IRC (channel #VENA) and have a chat with the Academy staff. Also, feel free to navigate the site to get to know more about us! The Vast Empire Navy welcomes you, Crewman.

I am Chief Warrant Officer Hunter-Morrell, an Academy Trainer for the Vast Empire Navy, and I will be helping you today.

Now that you have posted a welcome message here on the Naval Academy board, you completed Imperial Initiation and have started Basic Training. BT, as it is called, is mostly Flight School, which prepares you for daily life in a squadron.

The first step in Flight School is to complete Chapter 1, which can be found here.

Our method of writing here in the Vast Empire Navy (and the Vast Empire) is to write in third person. Please do so. If you have any questions, feel free to ComNet PM myself for guidance or hop on IRC and go to the Naval Academy channel which is #VENA. Good Luck.

Physical Description
Narod is a very muscular, but still a pretty skinny one. On his left eye he has a scar which he recieved in a bar fight with a drunk dude. After the fight he joined the Empire and got a tatoo of the Empire logo on his right arm.
Character’s Background
Narod grew up in a very poor family, they could baerly even keep him alive. He never got to go to school so he never had any real friends. Then when he was 15 both his parents died in a ship fire. So figuring he had nothing to lose he joined the Empire.

I'm a tad bored, so I'll poke in on Hunter's turf for a second.

(I'm one of the other Academy Staff members, btw. Nice to meet you, Narod.)

We need a little more in both the Physical Description and Character Background sections, just a sentence or two each will be enough. Also, you need to add the Personality section.

Aside from that there's only really one thing I see that needs fixed: his education. It's not realistic for any group to let someone without any education fly an expensive starfighter. You may want to just leave out any mention of education, as many of us have, or edit it so he's got a decent education.
