Razor sat in his room at his workbench a welder in one hand his other resting on the small lump of cortosis he had found as a boy on Ovorat. 

Slowly, lovingly, he cut through the cortosis melting out a small square of the metal and placed it inside the melter.  The heat raged from the melter with the incredible power needed to melt the cortosis.  The cortosis slowly dripped out into the hot cup that would keep it melted. 

Razor quickly grabbed his tongs and lifted one of the plasteel discs and carefully inspected it.  Its edges were sharp enough to cut a person's thumb with the slightest contact.

He dipped it into the cup of bright orange melted cortosis and used a titanium rod to spread the cortosis onto the small disc. 

He had done this hundreds of other times but this was the first time he was using the small composite of cortosis that he had.

When he had placed the disc on a repulsor table to let it cool he walked back to the table and pulled out his launcher for the disc.  The launcher was wrist mounted and fit easily over his armor. 

He lifted it and inspected the disc loader.  Seeing that it was full Razor flipped off the safety and took aim at the small target across the room.  He fired four shots in quick succession the magnetic firing repulsor thrumming as it accelerated each disc.

The discs buzzed through the air and pummeled the target as each one buried itself in the small target.  Each disc was planted in the tarfet less than a centimeter from the center of the target.

It had taken a lot of time to adapt the disc thrower and calibrate it for pinpoint accuracy.  The loader was the most complicated part of the whole disc thrower because it loaded the discs and held them in place while the magnetic field powered up. 

This project was one that Razor had put all of his skill and craftsmanship into.  Carefully forming each of the discs so they could fit into his disc shooter.

It had been months before he was able to use his disc shooter without a malfunctioning part but he had finally fixed it to shoot properly.

He put the disc shooter away and went back to the disc.  The cortosis covered disc was cooled and he put it on the shelf next to his plasteel discs.  It gleamed and he admired its deathly beauty.  He saw it killing the enemys of the emperor and he was happy.

Happy with the work he had achieved today he decided to sleep.
