Good evening ladies and gentleman, and welcome to your latest writing contest from the Empire's one and only newspaper: The Tadath Times.

Over time the news and fun facts of the Empire and Star Wars community has been covered by a small group of volunteer writers and artists to be brought directly to you. The name may have changed, but the Tadath Times, as the organization is now called, needs you.

So you ask yourself: What is this Tadath Times? I've never heard of them, and why do they need my help?

Well, the fact that you may not have heard of the TT is the exact reason why it needs your assistance. After her reopening Tadath Times expected to see a large influx of willing writers. This did not happen and the paper has fallen into a small boy on the corner shouting "Get your paper!.

So, why participate? Out of patriotism? No, I will not ask you to write for mere recognition. Instead I will offer something more; cold, hard, imaginary, credits!

Rules!


-Every story or article must exceed 250 words, but remember this is a contest. Write!
-Every submission must be an original work. If you must used a source for your work cite it properly.
-For now all entries must pertain to either the Army, the VE as a whole, or the entire Star Wars community.
-Comics or original cartoons will also be accepted.

Rewards


1st Place- 100,000 ICs
2nd Place- 75,000 ICs
3rd Place- 50,000 ICs

Not all submitted articles will be used. Those that are used will receive between 5,000 and 15,000 ICs depending on quality. Cartoons will be handled separately.

In addition there are several journalist and cartoonist slots that are up for grabs at the Tadath Times. You can rest assured that those who prove themselves through this contest will indeed an invitation to join the TT.
