OK guys, sigs aside. You've got 48 hours until we will be moving into the next stage of the story.

Obviously we will have some time to reflect on the events that have just transpired and the nature and indeed identity of our new enemy.

All will come to light eventually, however, in the meantime have a think on how you feel you're character might react to our skirmish. Don't forget we've lost a crewman, another to the accumulating list of Rhegent's MIA and KIA. We also came up an incredibly skilled opponent that despite their inferior fighter where able to get the advantage over us had it not been for Rocket's breaking of directive and the arrival of the Deliverance.

Consider what would your character do in the downtime back on-board the mother ship:

Are they injured? Do they need treatment?

Are they upset, angry, numb, frustrated? How would they express or deal with these emotions? Would they get drunk, do stims, fight, train, argue with each other, blame one another?

I really think the quality of the posting has been good and I'm pleased to see how it is evident that you are really reading each others post and bouncing off what the previous people have mentioned. So for this down time, debriefing it is not a bad idea to try and work together with your post.

For example: One of you could kick off at your flightleader over the fact they didn't want to fire on the enemy or perhaps another might blow off efforts from another pilot trying to offer them emotional support. It might turn nasty and one of you might start throwing xenophobic insults at the other or call them weak, fresh out of the academy etc.

It is a great opportunity to work on your dialogue skills and really build a sense of characters interacting with each other.

Shaping up to be a good story so let's keep it up.

Kudos on your post Kaz, just want to point out that not only should you use the spell check (which it looks like you did), but try and proofread your writing one last time to double check the grammar before you submit. It helps to pick out things that are correctly spelled, but yet don't make perfect sense in sentence.
