So, I know a few people here play Guild Wars. This is just a nice tutorial to by pass those (at times) extremely long map loads.

So, we are going to use a command line argument to download all the maps at startup! Yes, this is going to take a while, but it is worth it in the long run.

1. Right click your GW.exe shortcut and select properties.
2. In the "Target area..." field, you will see something like this. "<...>/GW.exe"
3. Add in the flags you want to use at the end of this line. For example, "<...>/GW.exe" -windowed


The flag to download all the maps is "-image" (no quotes). After you run this once you won't have to download any of the maps again! Make sure to remove this after you have run it or the game will not start.
