So yesterday I used my laptop and it was perfectly fine though there seemed to be a not so air-tight bond between the screen and what holds it there, sounded and felt a little like an air pocket, would smooth out if your finger ran over it but then pop back up, wasn't really a huge thing...quite small, low buble-like.
So I go to use it this morning and what a surprise I have...there is some minor distortion, kinda like watching TV on an old set except no black dots. There are some color changes as well. Dark red or rather crimson is the new black and white got replaced by baby blue.
What sucks is that I can't use the desktop at my mother's since there's no internet and it is now unplugged in my mom's room so everyone's using the 'net on their laptops. what sucks even more is that I won't have the use of ZoomText while I wait for it to be fixed so I'm hoping this won't last too long.
I'm going on semi-leave because at my dad's place (where I'm at now) I have a desktop in my room and I could deal with the Internet issues so I'd be here-ish for however long this lasts.
Expect to see me last Friday morning at the latest until next week and then it'll go on like this for...as little as possible I'm hoping.
Saph, if I don't get this fixed in a month don't out me in Reserves, just don't fine me for missed reports which would be 2/4 (asked Jeg if I'd be fined and was told that I shouldn't be)
