And now we come to the easiest to participate in, yet most controversial topic: gaming. Despite many common beliefs, playing yahoo pool does NOT constitute as gaming. Playing Star Wars: Jedi Outcast on the other hand: does. This year, gaming submissions need to be turned in to Tanus Solvona and Decembrist (otherwise known as the Platoon Staff).

    Platoon Staff wrote:

        * Games need to be either military or star wars based and be multiplayer (check first if you are unsure of your game in case it gets denied points)
        * HOW you prove your game is your decision, screenshot is the desired method, but we need to be able to confirm beyond a doubt that you DID play said game.

Some additional information:

-You MUST play against another VE member, though 3rd parties are allowed. The point of multiplayer games is to promote activity and relations within the VE Community. If you're playing multiplayer by yourself, you might as well be playing single player. NO EXCEPTIONS.

-Specific games that have been ruled OK (this list will continue to be updated): Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, VERPG, AVA, Section 8

-Specific games that have been ruled not OK (this list will continue to be updated): Combat Arms

-"Confirm beyond a doubt" means a picture of the score of the game or some online record of the game. We need to see YOUR score as well as the game's overall score. You will get points for playing, but more for winning.

-Bonus points will be given to those playing specifically Star Wars games and playing any game against members of other squads.

Weren't the rules for gaming during the ESC a bit different?

I understand having to play with another VE member, but I don't think you should be allowed to play with only your squad mates. During the ESC there HAD TO BE another member of a DIFFERENT squad in the game. Getting only members in your squad to play a game isn't very fair to me.

You don't HAVE to play against other squads, but it will give you bonus points.
