== Physical Description ==

Ganis S. Reichert has a large frame, but is physically fit for his size. He usually lets his beard and mustache grow, and will trim it occasionally, but will never shave it clean. While stricter Navy officers tend to frown upon his appearance, most officers are willing to overlook it. Although he is in his early forties, nearly all of his hair has turned white, making him appear much older than he really is.

== Character’s Background ==

As a child, most of his friends and family refer to his by his middle name, Santa, although he would respond to either his first or last name when formally spoken to. His family raised him on Coruscant, where he meet many species and heard many tales. His father, being a space trader, took Santa with him on many of his trips. As a result, he visited many planets and became familiar enough with many of the common trade languages to understand a conversation spoken in any of them. His father also allowed him to pilot a ship at an early age, giving him the experience he needed to join the Navy.

When he turned eighteen, Reichert joined the Navy and served with them for ten years, before meeting his wife, Maris. She requested that he retire from the Navy after she found out she was pregnant with their son, Jorus. He obliged and retired shortly after.

Together they raised their son on Corellia. Jorus grew up to become a pilot like his father, and eventually joined the Navy. During this time, Santa took up many odd jobs and traveled across the galaxy with his wife, simply to experiencing all the galaxy had to offer. When his wife turned forty, she got in a severe speeder accident and died. Having lost his purpose for staying on Corellia as a family man, Reichert reenlisted into the Navy.

== Personality ==

Santa is always seen as a jovial and good-humored fellow. He is well liked by most for his spirit and wit. He often jokes about his age and will even attribute his behavior to old age, but in reality he is of perfectly sound mind. During his travel's, he picked up the habit of smoking from a pipe, and is often found with his trademark pipe in his mouth when he is not puffing from it. On the rare occasion's that he does become angry, his fury is an intimidating sight not seen nor forgotten by many.
