Now, the next step in your training is to start Flight School and post your character biography in this thread. This biography should be a rough outline of your characters history.

You have the second and third, but you need to add the Physical Description section. This goes beyond just the appearance thing- go into detail about where his scars, etc are, what types of clothes he wears, how he wears them, etc.

Edit that into your post and we'll re-grade. Good work so far.

Some friendly advice (and I really do mean that): You might want to edit your own mass-produced welcome message to reflect the changes you just had me make. Might help to avoid some confusion/frustration.

Keep moving, Boomer thought to himself, just keep moving. That really was the key, Boomer knew. He had the enemy out maneuvered, but he was severely outgunned. It was the classic starfighter paradox: you could either have a fast ship that could out-fly the enemy, or you could have a hulking tank of a ship that could outgun/outlast the enemy. You couldn’t have both.

Normally, Boomer was all for speed and maneuverability. He loved the rush that flying the Interceptor brought him. Right then, however, as laser bolts screamed past his fighter on all sides, he wished he had a little more shielding protecting his vulnerable craft. As he continued to jig and jive his way throughout the utter black of deep space, there was only one thought in Boomer’s mind: don’t get hit.

That was easier said than done, of course. The X-Wing that was chasing him wasn’t a slow craft, and it had an impressive field of fire. If Boomer couldn’t find a way to disengage from the game of cat and mouse that he and the enemy pilot were currently playing at, he knew that it was only a matter of time before the other pilot got lucky and scored a hit with one of those big cannons that jutted out from the X-Wing’s S-Foils. For a few more seconds Boomer kept up his semi-irregular evasive maneuvers, attempting to lull the enemy pilot into a false sense of rhythm, all the while still trying to avoid the laser bolts flying past him. It was a complicated game, and not one that Boomer was inclined to play for much longer. Gritting his teeth, he made his move.

Yanking back on the Interceptor’s control sticks, Boomer sent his ship into a climb that even the starfighter’s inertial dampeners couldn’t completely compensate for. The Interceptor shuddered as it reached the peak of the climb, and Boomer didn’t waste any time. Spinning the craft around and pointing the nose back ‘downwards’, he shoved the throttles forward as far as they would go. The twin ion engines screamed, and the interceptor shot forward, slotting in directly behind the enemy craft.

Boomer allowed himself a small smile. He had managed to shake the enemy craft, and now he was in the sweet spot. Attempting to adjust his targeting computer while maintaining his favorable position on the enemy pilot’s ‘six, Boomer forgot one crucial lesson: tunnel vision kills.

The second enemy craft took him from the side, guns blazing. It was a quick ending, and there was only time for a single obscenity before the simulator went completely dark. Sitting there in the darkness, Boomer couldn’t help but wonder what he had done wrong. Everything seemed to have been going well, and then it was all over.

Shaking his head and pulling himself up and out of the simulator pod, Boomer decided that from now on he was going to redouble his efforts. Right then and there, he decided that there would be no more failures.

A little longer than you wanted, but I had trouble accepting anything shorter. It just felt incomplete. If it's a problem, I suppose I can fix it.

I thought as much, but my apology was based mainly on this passage from the Flight School wiki:

Meh.  I'm just a guy who happens to like SW and writing, decided to put the two together, and wound up here.  A little common sense never hurt, either.

...though I'll take that as a compliment.
