Don't know how many folks like Michael Jackson- I usually get some pretty nasty comments, lol- but I've always been a fan of his music/dancing, (really, really love his dancing, actually, lol), so I went to go see "This Is It." I was a bit disappointed because I thought it would be a bit more of a concert experience, but after thinkin about it for a little bit: it's actually a decent movie with a bit of plot.
Basically- he starts off kind of low-key, saving his voice most of the time, and he's just feeling things out (it'd been quite some time since he'd been on stage). But, over the course of the movie, he starts to get his groove back and, slowly, begins to sing out more and more until finally, near the end, he sings out with his full voice on Billie Jean. All and all: the movie was a little slow because it didn't have that intensity that his concerts did, but for select points in the movie ("The Way You Make Me Feel," "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," "Earth Song

it was kind of worth seeing. Anywho- I thought it was decent, and if there's some other MJ fans out there: glad to hear what ya thought.
*Note: Initial turn-out was pretty low where I'm at, but it didn't stop people from wearin Thriller jackets, lol.
