History:

Following a catastrophic war on Bogden, Kohlma was set up as a memorial tomb for those who had fallen. It would later be the secret hideout for Komari Vosa and her cult, the Bando Gora.

After their defeat, it was also where Jango Fett was recruited by Darth Tyranus to become the template of the clone army, 32 BBY.

Bando Gora:

The Bando Gora cult was a deadly Force-worshipping criminal organization that operated around the time of the Invasion of Naboo.

The cult ruled through fear on Outer Rim Territories and uncivilized worlds in the galaxy, often killing those who stood in their way or refused to convert. Their ruthless assassination attacks began crippling the galaxy's most powerful industries. Shortly after the Battle of Galidraan, the cult attacked the planet Baltizaar. The Galactic Republic requested Jedi intervention, but the Jedi were under-prepared to face the power of the Bando Gora. The Jedi were almost overwhelmed and many died, but the cult was eventually driven off.

One unauthorized member of the Jedi task force was Komari Vosa, who was captured by the cult with two others and brutally tortured. Succumbing to the dark side of the Force, she broke free and slaughtered both her captors and fellow captives before taking leadership of the cult.

Members of the cult became hideous, with black mottled skin and glowing red or blue eyes. Bando Gora captains usually wore terrifying masks with long, downward horns and carried staffs which emitted green balls of fire. Shortly after the Battle of Naboo, the Bando Gora produced a potent strain of death stick which contained even more powerful narcotics and was used to help brainwash victims. The cult soon proved to be a threat to the Republic, as well as to the Sith lords Darth Tyranus and Darth Sidious.

Dooku hired bounty hunters Jango Fett and Montross to track down Vosa for a sum of 5 million Republic credits, an offer few could refuse. After chasing the Dark Jedi down to Kohlma, the burial moon of Bogden, and defeating his rival, Fett penetrated Vosa's heavily defended fortress and engaged her in a furious battle. He finally bested Komari, but spared her life. Dooku, who somehow seemed to be present, had other ideas and used the dark side to choke her to death, decapitating the Bando Gora cult and ending their reign of terror. He revealed that he knew the location of Vosa all along, that this was a test and made an agreement with Jango for him to become the template for a clone army. It is not known what happened to the thousands of servants. Whether they died or reverted back to normal is unknown. In recent years, the Bando Gora have been assumed to have resurfaced.

Vosghoul: A creature that came about while remnant Bando Gora scientists worked on developing a way to revive their now ancient leader. Kohlma being a "tomb planet," the Bando Gora simply dug up the corpses of the already dead to use as a partial container. They discovered that this failed attempt was not a complete failure. These mindless beasts could be controlled or at least tamed enough to act as simple soldiers.

Gora Beast: This beast came of experiments upon prisoners that the Bando Gora remnant captured. The leaders gave free rein to the scientists to use prisoners as templates for the body of their ancient leader. The mutations applied to the living prisoners made their minds feral and seemingly regress in evolution. Body hair became more dominant in the mammals, scales became thicker on the reptiles, bones hollowed and plumage became more suitable for flight on the avian. These monsters were capable of extraordinary physical feats. Their creators attached collars about their necks to maintain a subservient nature, at least towards all Bando Gora.

Bando Specter:
The Bando Gora scientists not only aimed to resurrect their fallen leader of old, but they also felt that it would be a gesture of loyalty to provide some elite protectors. The initial tests were performed on the lowest of the Bando Gora soldiers. Experiments yielded an unusual effect on the bodies of these people. When moving in the dark, an aura of sorts became visible. As they moved they appeared to be phasing in and out as they moved. The glowing silhouettes trailed behind giving the feeling of a spirit smearing across the view scape. With first tests pitted against their own solders showed that the Bando Specter caused confusion as to the solid beings location. The luminecent trail disrupts even the most effective and high tech imaging equipment.

Vosa Slime: Bando Gora scientists attempted a number of experiments to generate a body. They even went to the most basic of life substances. Primordial Ooze. It was a fair success. A corps was created made of a mass of ooze. Only one was crafted, but after a number of days the body split in two producing two identical forms. Bando Gora scientists saw a number of uses for such a being. One scientist began to inspect the body in great detail, and while doing so stumbled forward. He landed head first into the corpse. Unable to break free, he was absorbed. The next split yielded a semi-intelligent creature.
