== Character’s Background ==
Davis "Billy the Squid" Alrighty was born on Cloud City to parents Ollie and Cait Alrighty. Davis' father worked in the mines, while his mother worked as a secretary on the administrative levels. Both were Rebel sympathizers. During the rebel uprising on the Imperial Garrison, his parents were betrayed via friendly fire. Davis confronted the soldier and was met with more hostility. "Your parents did nothing for the cause, it's a blessing they got in my way" said the soldier. Davis pulled his fathers dagger from his belt and was met with a fierce counter, slashing his face and leaving him scared for the rest of his life.

A couple of years had passed and Davis had made his way to Tattooine, where he took up work as a smuggler. Life was hard, scavenging food and supplies for The Hutts wasn't exactly the life he had dreamed of. While having a drink at the cantina one night when he was approached by an Imperial Recruiter. After a brief discussion on what he would do exactly, he decided he would join the Imperial Navy, in hopes that someday, he would come across the man he had been searching for his entire life. A man known by the name, Coalinga.     

== Personality ==
Witty, dry, and often quiet, Davis has been known for sarcasm and ultimately destroying the ego of anyone who dares question him. His experiences in life have made him a clever and quick adversary. It's hard to let anyone close to him, due to the fact that he's simply scared of losing the ones he loves.

Unfortunatly placements arn't up to me, and in the current climate, wishes arn't really taken into account either. Sorry.

Good bio. Whilst your background is a tad cliche, it seems well thought out and there's enough detail there to start you off with. As you expand your character during your time here, you may want to revisit your history from time to time and expand on parts of it.

Also remember that we're not "The Imperial Navy", we're the Vast Empire, a splinter faction.

You have to remember, this site is completely non-canon. None of this exists in the normal Star Wars universe, only on this site.

Well billy, as you know, after the fall of the Emperor, the Empire itself collapsed into various factions vying for control, like Thrawn.

We're no different from them, except instead of tearing ourselves to pieces in the Galactic Core, we relocated to a (fictional) area in the Unknown Regions and set up a new empire there.

Obvioulsy we have our goals and deams, but there's no 'mission' as such outside of our slow and steady expansion. We're a lot smaller then the old Empire was, and with fewer resources.

So no, we are not 'the' Imperial Navy. We're a Imperial Navy I suppose, but we're part of the Vast Empire.

As Instructor Hunter pointed out, the Vast Empire is a fictional body, so you won't find it on the official star wars wiki. Our own wiki should contain all the information you need in one place or another, although I'd be the first to admit its far from perfect.

You are currently in Venom Squadron. The Vast empire training squadron. When you have passed Basic Training you will be placed in a squadron.
