Normally I would post instructions on a new recruit's welcome message that tells them where to go and what to do to pass through Flight Training, but I am going to do no such thing here. I'm sorry for being so harsh, but that is unacceptable here. Not only is it unreadable, it makes you sound like an illiterate 5 year old. So until you can prove to me that you can type like a regular human being, you are not to receive any instructions on what to do. Good day.

To clarify a bit: It's essential that the other members of the club are able to read and make sense of your posts. Due to that, we require normal grammar and spelling in all posts. If you want your character to have an accent, you may...but the only time you can write in that accent is when the character actually speaks. Even then it has to be mild enough to be easily understood. If it's worse than Jar Jar Binks' accent, it's probably not acceptable here.

Whatever. Drac, this one is left up to you. I can't deal with him.

Pirate, I'm afraid we do need to insist on standard english in posts, just so everyone can understand you. We're not trying to discriminate against you, we just need to be able to read it. The same goes the other way as well: I don't write exactly how I speak, for example. Accents just don't carry over well to the internet. It's something we all have to deal with to some degree.

There is a solution, though. It will take care of the grammar debate, as well as give you enough time to edit your posts. Here's what to do:

-Open up Microsoft Word (or any other program with a spell-checker).
-Read any new posts in the thread, so you're up to date. (This is mostly important in mission threads.)
-Write out your post in Microsoft Word (or whichever program you choose) and edit it there.
-Once you're done, hit Ctrl+A to highlight the entire post.
-Now hit Ctrl+C to Copy it.
-Click in the box where you normally write out posts and hit Ctrl+V to Paste it into the box.

Doing that will allow you to use all the time you need to write out each post, then you can transfer the whole thing to the posting box in a matter of seconds. No more problems with the website timing out, since it's all written on another program. (You can choose where or not to save what you write on the other program to your computer. It'll stay on here either way.)

-----

On to your bio:

The Physical Appearance section looks good. Good job.

If you could add a paragraph or two to the Background section, that would definitely help define your character. You can add details such as friends, family, rivals, enemies, etc.

The same goes for the Personality section. Try and fill it out with some specifics until it's two small paragraphs. Good things to add include pet peeves, favorites, attitude problems (for example, tendencies toward cockiness or envy), good qualities (for example, bravery or intelligence), etc.

I know you probably had a good amount on both of these originally, but it was lost. You don't have to cover everything your wrote a second time, but we still need to get the sections up to minimum length.

Best of luck,
-Drac
