It's really not my place (especially seeing as how i'm not here...) to be the one that tellls you this.
But, seeing as how you're a crewman, you should of posted in the Naval Acadamy.
No, it's not directly related to Star Wars: Galaxies.
And you must be a member of the Vast Empire for six months (at least) and be extremely good at writing, to be accepted into the DJO (Dark Jedi Order; but then again you don't know they exist yet).

If any of this information is wrong, then somebody else should come along.
In the mean time post in the Naval Acadamy, but do what I did, and read through the threads of people who graduated. Just to get an Idea.
