Name: Zak "Chessplayer" Narudo
Age: 21
Gender: Human Male
Homeplanet: Coruscant
Appearance: Tall measuring in at about 6'1", muscular build without being to stocky. Wears a very plain dark tunic which is always very clean and cut, has a slight Coruscanti accent which belies his ties to the Core, the classic "Imperial".
Personality: Keeping to himself Zak "Chessplayer" Narudo is the type of guy one wouldnt to be liked by many, With an uncanny ability in defeating his opponents in games of tactics Zak earned the name "chessplayer" among his peers for accurately being able to predict his opponents moves before they occurred. As a young boy Zak heard stories about the Jedi and the Sith and how magnificently they played there part in galactic affairs and always wanted to learn more about their respective histories and as he grew his fascination grew when his father was transferred to Korriban as part of his duties to the the new Empire. After a series of strange occurrences left his mother and father under the suspicions of the Moff in charge of the sector Zak became wary of ISB (Imperial Security Beureau) and thought that it was odd the Empire take such an interest in his parents, although his parents paid him no heed. One fateful day a group of Rebels raided the Imperial base at Draeshdae, and killed his parents while escaping. Zak wouldve been killed had it not been for a Imperial Naval Officer who saved the boy from being blown to pieces from a thermal detonator thrown to cover the fleeing rebels, resulting in the Imperial officer being slightly wounded as he shielded Zak from the explosion with his own body while carrying him behind a durasteel wall. From that day forward Zak vowed he would avenge his parents by joining the Imperial navy and hoped to become just like the red-eyed, blue skinned Imperial officer that had saved him. The officer also took care of Zak for about a year and a half while Zak prepared to leave Korriban for Coruscant in the hopes that he would be accepted into the Imperial Navy

Bonjour! Welcome to the Vast Empire Navy, Crewman. I am Ensign Bacredi, Naval Training Officer for the Vast Empire Navy, I will be helping you here today. You have just completed Imperial Initiation by posting your welcome message here, the Vast Empire Navy congratulates and welcomes you for that. Now, the next step in your training is to start FlightSchool and post your character biography. This biography will (and should) be a rough outline of your characters history. In your biography, you will need to list the following (just copy and paste): - Code: Select all
= Physical Appearance = Homeworld: Age: Species: Native Language: Gender: Skin Color: Height: Weight: Hair Color: Facial Hair: Eye Color: Scars: Tattoos:
== Character’s Background == (Give me 1-2 solid paragraphs with information on your character’s past. Using a large amount of detail isn’t necessary, but if you feel like you want to, go ahead.)
== Personality == (Just write about what your character’s personality is. Make him/her interesting!)
Our method of writing here in the Vast Empire Navy (and the Vast Empire) is to write in third person. Please do so. If you have any questions, feel free to ComNet PM myself for guidance. Good day! Useful links:And, meh.. just flush out the guidelines I put here and you're passed onto Chapter II.

The sandwhich- A very easy offensive maneuver that requires a wingman. You or your wingman baits the target into chase while the other comes around and eliminates the enemy from behind.
The break turn- A sharp turn used to throw an enemy off your tail. Done by turning the craft then pulling back on the stick sharply. Offensively this can be used for target acquisition if an enemy formation is to either side of you and defensively it can be good for shaking an enemy or buying yourself some time.

The sandwhich- A very easy offensive maneuver that requires a wingman. You or your wingman baits the target into chase while the other comes around and eliminates the enemy from behind. Can be combined with the break turn as the bait can coordinate a quick break turn to get out of the line of fire as the pilot in chase opens fire.
The break turn- A sharp turn used to throw an enemy off your tail. Done by turning the craft then pulling back on the stick sharply. Offensively this can be used for target acquisition if an enemy formation is to either side of you and defensively it can be good for shaking an enemy or buying yourself some time. As useful as this tactic is, it requires very little skill to do and in space, thanks to the zero-friction of the climate the craft will be able to perform this much more easily. In atmospheric combat, it is recommended that all maneuvers be taken with a grain of salt as there is now a drag factor to consider.

First the ID- Recruit/Crewman Narudo/VEN/VE
Report-
For the past couple of days I have been learning the basics of the ComNet and the VE portocols, specifically those pertaining to posting while following a command structure. Also I have been working on my character, creating a backstory and personality. As of now I have read about two stories within the forums as to get a better idea about how posting works.

The website isn't finished, so for now you'll have to use the Wiki.
Just type in "Aviator's Exam" on the wiki search bar.
