Recently My laptop started overheating, I would like to know if there is anything I can do to stop it over heating.

OS: Windows Vista Premuim (home edition)
Its a gateway.

Also, BestBuy etc. Sells a small cooling stand you set the laptop on while you are using it. I have to use that to keep mine from overheating since its on all the time.
