Fresh out of training, Katarn is out on leave. They told him to go, he worked to hard. "To bad I have nothing to go to." thought Katarn. So Katarn decided to go home, relax, head over to the Cantina and have a couple of drinks. Katarn didn't think twice about boarding that shuttle. Next stop, Tatooine. About 5 hours later, Katarn notices the ship land. As he looks out the window he notices absolutely nothing has changed.
"Wow still the gorgeous dump I remember." stated a dissapointed Katarn.
As Katarn stepped off the shuttles ramp onto the familiar dirt ground, he noticed how good it felt. Just then he remembered the night he family was killed. Filled with disgust and sadness, Katarn rented a swoop, and headed home.
"Place must be a dump, I guess before I head to the cantina ill clean up" thought Katarn.
As he arrived home, he noticed something wrong, it looked empty. Katarn ran up to the door and unholstered his blaster. He held it up to the door and slowly opened it, he was right, it was completely empty. Cussing Katarn walked onto the yard and noticed two sets of Bantha tracks. He was furious.
"DAMN THOSE TUSKEN'S!" yelled Katarn punching the wall.
"WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO TAKE FROM ME!? MY LIFE?".
10 minutes later Katarn was cooled, but something inside him urched him to get back at the Raiders. Take from them what they took from him. Thier pride, and dignity. For the moment, revenge was insane, considering he doesn't have enough men, since his squad is busy, and he has no where to stay. So he did the smart thing, used his military credits and bought new items for his house. Later Katarn went over to the Cantina. He saw new faces, and no old ones, so he just went up to the bartender and ordered a small drink.
"Hey, your Katarn right?" said the tender.
"Yeah, whats it to ya?" said a ticked Katarn.
"Geez man just trying to ask a question, but yeah I heard about you, your the kid who killed those Raiders a couple years back" retorted the needy bartender.
"Yup, thats me. Why does it matter?" replied Katarn.
"Well kid it could be none of your buissnes, but... theres a local group thats looking for someone to get back at the Raiders for what they did to the town. You intrested?"
All Katarn did was grin. This is what exactly what he was looking for.
