Chapter Three
Mourn the Dead

Ships after ships exploded in flames. The Sith Armadda had only just arrived, but were pounding the GRISS army. Only the front ships were being used, the other bigger capital ships had not even began battle...yet. On board the massive Sith Ahhnialator Starship, The Sarcophacus, Darth Mourn sits upon his throne on the bridge, watching quietly. From behind him, Darth Creep entered, his creeking and clicking creating a menacing atmosphere. He stopped beside his master's throne and watched the battle, awaiting his master's word.
"Is the Deflector Cannon ready?" asked Mourn finally.
"Yes, my master. What of my secondary mission? Is he here?"
Mourn quietly nodded.
"As you wish, my lord", and Creep exited.

Omega stationed more ships. Unless they got aid from the GRISS or the Jedi, they were done for. While doing his duties, thoughts passed through his mind. He thought of the vast force and power of this new Sith threat. He wondered about the mysterious 'Mourn'. He then thought of his planet, Corelia, and of his family. If he was going to die today, he would go with a fght, but we wished he could see his home and family again, or at least meet his father. He looked out the viewport. The Sith Ahhnialator was firing something up. Were they retreating? Then it fired and hit the Whirlwind and many other ships. They lost all power and some even blew up. A small Sith Hunter fighter ship, launched from the Sarcophacus and flew to the Whirlwind.

Inside the docking area of the Whirlwind, Creep exits his fighter, and he cuts through any resistance. He makes his way to the bridge, hunting his prey. However, fate would play a different role. A small fighter malfunctioned and flew into the Deflector Cannon and it short circuited and blasted the Whirlwind again, and the bridge and other stations exploded. Creep was blasted away from the bridge, but was not harmed too badly. His prey however, could not say the same.

The Sith left victorious, the GRISS army completely destroyed. At Karickel, at Mourn's palace, Creep informed him of the death of the target. Mourn's face, what can be see anyway, does not change.
"That is a pity. Let us pray to the Force and to the Dark Side, and mourn his passing. After the praying, Creep and the Sith Council left Mourn's throne room. Once they had left, Mourn left his throne and entered a secret room. Inside, medical droids are gathered.
"Is he alive?"
One of the droids answered in a high mechanical tone.
"Y-e-s...bu-t...o-nl-y...a-a...sma-ll...s-p-a-rk...of...l-i-f-e..."
A small grin came across Mourn's face.
"Begin." The droids soon began their objective. Mourn looked at their subject and simply said,"Soon...Omega."

On Typhon, Tanus awoke from meditation with a start. He was frightened, sweat dripping down his face.
"What is it bro?" asked Melody Solo.
"A great...disturbance."
